<br>HR Additions has partnered with a leading landscaping company to find an experienced <strong>Payroll & Benefits Manager</strong> to join their team. This role is pivotal in independently managing payroll for approximately 300+&nbsp;employees and&nbsp;overseeing&nbsp; benefits administration.<br> 

<strong>Responsibilities</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Process accurate and timely payroll for weekly and semi-monthly cycles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.</li>
&#9;<li>Collaborate with production teams to verify non-exempt hours are accurate and submitted on time.</li>
&#9;<li>Liaise with payroll provider&nbsp;to manage payments, garnishments, and tax transactions.</li>
&#9;<li>Work with Human Resources to ensure employee data (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary updates) is accurately updated.</li>
&#9;<li>Partner with Accounting and HR teams on payroll reconciliations, benefits expenses, and workersâ compensation audits, addressing discrepancies as needed.</li>
&#9;<li>Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.</li>
&#9;<li>Prepare and provide payroll reports for management or auditors as required.</li>
&#9;<li>Manage year-end and quarterly payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting.</li>
&#9;<li>Collaborate with benefits brokers and carriers to administer employee benefits effectively, including resolving claims and coverage issues.</li>
&#9;<li>Lead the annual open enrollment process and ensure accurate election reporting to carriers.</li>
&#9;<li>Reconcile 401k contributions and company matching each pay period.</li>
&#9;<li>Address billing errors, eligibility issues, and adjustments for all benefit plans, including COBRA.</li>
&#9;<li>File Form 5500 and manage 1095-C annual processes.</li>
&#9;<li>Communicate health and wellness programs through newsletters and via Inova.</li>
</ul>

<strong>Requirements</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.</li>
&#9;<li>Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.</li>
&#9;<li>5+ years of payroll processing experience with a strong understanding of tax regulations.</li>
&#9;<li>Payroll certification preferred.</li>
&#9;<li>Proficiency in UKG/Inova HRIS and/or Aspire is preferred.</li>

&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews<br />
&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Serve as the contact person for questions from candidates<br />
&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Meet weekly quotas related to calls and emails<br />
&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Communicate regularly with HR Support team to assess candidate pipeline/onboarding&nbsp;<br />
&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Processing applicants, new hire, and employee transactions through the human resources information system<br />
Qualifications:<br />

&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;2+ years of high volume recruiting preferably in airport facility maintenance.<br />
