Job Description

HR Additions has partnered with a financial services company in search of a Payroll Manager. This role is direct hire and offers a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and implement improvements in payroll policies and procedures.
  • Directly manage payroll team for accurate and equitable processing.
  • Oversee vendor relations, audits, and accounting functions.
  • Liaise with management for policy decisions and systems setup.
  • Develop and maintain HR and payroll modules, including benefit plans and employee self-service profiles.
  • Monitor and support HR/PR systems, recommend enhancements, and provide training.
  • Ensure accurate multi-state payroll processing and compliance with laws.
  • Manage payroll disbursements, audits, and reporting.
  • Communicate with stakeholders for data reconciliation and cross-departmental impacts.
  • Maintain compliance with payroll laws and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support system projects.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and contribute to process improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and perform assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or extensive work experience in payroll or a related field of study. Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance or related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of  payroll management experience including multi-state payroll processing using ADP.
  •  Requires intermediate to advanced excel skills.
