HR Additions has partnered with an aviation company in search of a Payroll Coordinator.

Position will be responsible for:
  • Compiles payroll data from timekeeping system, lab administrators, employees, managers and supervisors to prepare for biweekly processing of payroll Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
  • Enters changes affecting net wages such as taxes, deductions, pay rates and calculates retroactive pay
  • Reviews vacation balances for accuracy and sends biweekly reports to each lab and HQ supervisors.
  • Prepares and issues paychecks and manual checks
  • Prepares reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions and creates custom reports Keeps records of leave of absence pay
  • Enters all new hire and termination information into HRIS payroll system Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures
  • Directs preparation of government reports including annual W-2 forms and monthly DOL reports
  • Audits payroll and HRIS system to ensure accuracy
  • Pays monthly commissions and bonuses
  • Prepare biweekly 401(K) funding reports and responsible for accurate and timely funding to the plans
  • Processes all garnishments, child support payments and tax payments
  • Prepares workers compensation renewal reports and coordinates workers compensation premium audits. direction knowledge.
Background should include:
  • 2+ years of payroll experience in an environment with 2- 5k employees
  • MS Excel (Intermediate) and Paycom are required
  • Multi-state payroll experience is required and union is a huge plus.
