Job Description


HR Additions is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to support a growth-focused organization. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing learning programs that enhance employee performance, support organizational goals, and drive engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to employees across varying levels, roles, and backgrounds
  • Provide one-on-one and team-based performance coaching as needed
  • Support the full talent development lifecycle including onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, and succession planning
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
  • Develop course outlines, storyboards, and instructional materials aligned with adult learning principles
  • Create engaging, multimedia learning content using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, and Adobe
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine training materials
  • Continuously improve content based on feedback, performance data, and industry best practices
  • Manage course assignments, rosters, completion tracking, and reporting within the LMS
  • Provide technical support to users and maintain accurate training records
  • Track and analyze training metrics to measure effectiveness
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Develop measurement tools and reporting processes for learning initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions including scheduling, materials, and technology
  • Support special projects such as compliance training and employee development programs
  • Partner with HR to support engagement and organizational initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • HR certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in learning and development, training, or organizational development
  • Experience delivering training across instructor-led and virtual platforms
  • Prior experience working within or alongside Human Resources teams preferred
  • Proficiency in eLearning and content development tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe, LMS platforms)
