Job Description

HR Additions has partnered with a financial services company in search of a HR Manager. This role requires all staff to be in the office daily. The ideal candidate will touch on all areas benefits, compensation, recruiting/employment, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, compliance, payroll, and employee relations.

HR Manager Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for one weekly payroll and five biweekly payrolls that includes time sheet processing, verification of accrual balances and accuracy of payroll entries, process personnel changes and terminations, update all deductions: including wage garnishments, 401(k) deferrals and loans, and taxes.
  • Process submission of biweekly 401(k) file and quarterly reconciliation.
  • Responsible for Quarterly/Annual Tax filings and reports for Family household employees.
  • Respond to and process employment verifications.
  • Arrange and ensure compliance of background checks and drug screenings for new hires.
  • Facilitate orientation and onboarding process for new employees.
  • Maintain all HR related files, payroll files, personnel files, and benefits files.
  • Assist with coordination of annual benefit renewals, open enrollment process, communication of the plans and required notices, and process changes.
  • Lead recruiting efforts from start of an open position to offer/acceptance stage.
  • Assist with compensation analysis including completion of surveys for market data.
  • Process invoices and submit to corporate AP for payment.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Work through employee relations concerns that might arise. Keep HR management informed throughout the process.
  • Perform administrative functions such as recording and filing employee documents.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects and provide support in all areas of HR and healthcare benefits administration as requested.
  • Run annual MVRs as required.
  • Stay informed and in compliance with federal and state regulations for HR and Payroll.
  • Responsible for Paid Time Off tracking in ADP.

HR Manager Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited college/university
  • 5 + years of related experience in a corporate environment.
  • HR certification is ideal but not required.
