Job Description
HR Additions has a client in the San Diego area seeking a Customer Service/ Sales Support Representative to support their operations team. This role will be responsible for tracking customer orders, coordinating with manufacturers to obtain status updates, and communicating order progress to sales representatives. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple Excel spreadsheets in a fast-paced environment.
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid) Pay: $22-$25/hour Position Type: Full-Time Contract (2-3 Months) with the potential to convert to a permanent, full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain and track order status updates from manufacturers.
• Communicate order progress and updates to sales representatives.
• Maintain and update multiple Excel spreadsheets and tracking reports.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Assist with general administrative and office support duties.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely follow-up on open orders.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, equivalent military experience, or related work experience.
• 1-2 years of customer service, sales support, call center, or administrative experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Bookkeeping or invoicing experience is a plus, not required.
• Experience in a customer service capacity within the hospitality, food service or distribution industries preferred.
