Job Description


HR Additions has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a Benefits & Payroll Manager.

This is in the office daily and it is a direct hire role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and execute weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles.

  • Collaborate with payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

  • Handle payroll tax reporting and reconcile payroll and taxes with the General Ledger.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for daily payroll inquiries and system maintenance.

  • Generate payroll register entries in the General Ledger.

  • Support audits related to payroll and benefits.

  • Administer benefits, including managing carrier feeds through HRIS.

  • Analyze invoices and rectify discrepancies as needed.

  • Assist with annual benefits enrollment, updating HRIS portals, and communicating with carriers.

  • Aid employees with login and member ID issues.

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of insurance costs.

  • Prepare semi-monthly contribution and employer contribution reports.

  • Compile annual 401k census report for testing, Form 5500, and oversee the 401k audit process.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing the payroll processing from start to finish.

  • Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now.

  • Strong Excel skills: V-lookups and Pivot table experience

  • Knowledge of NetSuite and UKG is a plus
